HYDRAA Fences Off Rs.13 Crore Miyapur Park

Hyderabad: HYDRAA said it has fenced an area of 1,000 square metres. The garden land intended for a public park at Madinaguda in Miyapur was valued at more than Rs.13 crore on Monday. The land came under Survey No. 23 of Ushodaya Settlement, which is a Huda approved settlement plan.
As per the approved plan, the area was reserved as a public park and a donation deed was registered in favor of GHMC. HYDRAA stated that a local individual had illegally occupied the land and built a precast wall around it.
Residents of Ushodaya Settlement have long been demanding restoration of the park, but local authorities have failed to take action despite clear records. Following a complaint received through the Prajavani portal, HYDRAA officials along with revenue and GHMC officials inspected the area and confirmed its park land status.
Following approval, HYDRAA removed the illegal wall, installed fencing around the property, and installed signs declaring it a park open to public use.
