I gave Andrew a naked massage at Buckingham Palace… the £75 bill was paid by the Royal Family’s Coutts bank cheque

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor enjoyed a private nude massage in a Buckingham Palace bedroom, the Daily Mail has revealed; all of this was paid against a check from the Palace.

The embarrassed former prince snuck professional masseuse Monique Giannelloni into the late Queen’s official residence after she was recommended by Ghislaine Maxwell.

Ms Giannelloni claims she was waved towards the Palace without any security checks before being taken to Andrew’s room, where he emerged from the bathroom completely naked and then laid down on a massage chair.

South African Ms Giannelloni provided the Daily Mail with an invoice showing Buckingham Palace paid the £75 bill directly from Coutts’ account.

This review took place in June 2000 – a few months before the then Duke of York became UK Trade Ambassador in 2001; He held the post until 2011, when he was forced to step down due to his friendship with pedophile billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Ms Giannelloni said: ‘I arrived in the room and Andrew was standing there in a bathrobe.’ After saying ‘hello’, she went to the bathroom and came back naked.

‘I looked away and felt quite embarrassed.’

Ms Giannelloni said that apart from the initial embarrassment, she had no problems during the massage and that the then-Duke was ‘very nice and very gentlemanly’.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who stood on all fours over a mysterious woman in the Jeffrey Epstein files, was a ‘very nice and very gentlemanly’ type, according to masseuse Ms Giannelloni.

Mrs Giannelloni,

Ms Giannelloni received £75 for massaging the Duke of York, who “sprawled across my massage table” and “sent a new wave of nervous energy through me”.

He added: ‘When I was at Buckingham Palace I was so nervous I was just going through the motions and doing what I knew how and if there was anything wrong I don’t really remember noticing it other than she took the towel off very quickly.

Based on my experience that day, I really can’t say anything bad about Prince Andrew. ‘I only massaged her once.’

The masseuse says she first met Andrew through Maxwell, who somehow obtained his contact information.

He said: ‘I first got a call from Ghislaine Maxwell’s secretary in New York. I had a lot of high profile clients at that stage and it was all word of mouth so I have no idea how he got my number to begin with.

‘She wanted to get a massage late at night, but I told her I wouldn’t do that and went the next day in the morning.

‘When I got there, Jeffrey Epstein was also in the room the whole time and they were talking about buying an island for about £20 million, which I thought was very strange and odd that Epstein was just standing there.’

During one of Ms Giannelloni’s two dates with Maxwell, the socialite told the masseuse: ‘I’m going to introduce you to someone more famous than God.’

Shortly afterwards, Ms Giannelloni received a call from the Duke of York’s staff asking her to come to the Palace for an appointment.

‘When I received a phone call from the Duke of York’s staff, I immediately thought of Ghislaine because of what she said.

‘I didn’t know who Ghislaine or Epstein were. I knew Prince Andrew, of course, but at the time I had no idea about their association or what they were into.

‘He once said to me: “Don’t you know who I am, honey? I’m a celebrity, you should read the tabloids.”‘

An appointment with Andrew was quickly arranged and Ms Giannelloni drove to Buckingham Palace, parked her car and was then driven by a valet to the then-prince’s room.

According to Ms. Giannelloni, there was no personal security guard in the room or outside.

The check was signed by the former duke’s then-personal assistant Charlotte Manley and paid from the Royal Family’s Coutts account.

Ms Giannelloni was one of the most sought-after massage therapists in the UK and was working for high-profile clients when she was introduced to Andrew by Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Royal Family receives a number of income streams. This includes taxpayer funding from the Sovereign Grant, profits from the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall, as well as personal private investments.

It came to light after two whistle-blowing former civil servants demanded invoices for massages and luxury trips taken by Andrew during his visits abroad, while the country’s trade envoy was quietly dumped on taxpayers.

Whitehall officials were said to be appalled by Andrew’s lavish spending on flights, hotel rooms and expenses including spa treatments during his decade in the prestigious position.

The revelations are in stark contrast to earlier statements by Buckingham Palace, which insisted Andrew paid ‘all personal expenses’ during trade trips due to his term ending in 2011.

A former civil servant said he was so appalled that the public was picking up the tab for Andrew’s pampering that he tried to block a payment for ‘massage services’ but was rebuffed by senior staff.

“I thought it was wrong… I said we shouldn’t have paid, but we paid anyway,” he said of an allegation that emerged following Andrew’s visit to the Middle East.

He said the department had missed an opportunity to control his behavior while he was the Crown’s trade representative by allowing such expenses to be made without question.

“I can’t say it would have stopped him, but we had to flag that something was wrong,” the retired officer says.

Another source, a former senior Whitehall official who oversaw finances in that district, confirmed he had seen similar expenses for Andrew’s trips.

He told the BBC he was shocked by the scale of Andrew’s lavish spending as ambassador, including extravagant flights, an unreasonable number of hotel rooms and expenses for his entourage.

‘I couldn’t believe it… it wasn’t like it was real money, they weren’t spending their own money,’ the senior official said.

This is not the first time allegations have emerged that the former royal family received massages while working as ambassadors.

During an official trip to Indonesia in 2011, the then-prince enjoyed a £1,200-a-night stay at the Shangri-La Hotel and was treated to a rose petal massage by one of the staff in Jakarta.

Massage therapist Ria, who had four appointments with the Duke at the time, told The Mail on Sunday: ‘He was very friendly to me. At first I called him sir because my English is not good and I have a hard time saying Your Highness.

The former prince, whose love of luxury travel and private jets earned him the nickname ‘Air Miles Andy’, is being investigated for misconduct in public office over allegations he abused his position to leak confidential information to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and other wealthy connections.

His dramatic breakdown, capped by last week’s sensational arrest, will see the disgraced royal retreat to his new home at Sandringham Manor with nothing but a chef and a lonely butler.

Andrew is accused of sharing sensitive information with pedophile financier Epstein during his time as special representative for international trade and investment.

He was arrested in dramatic fashion in Sandringham on Thursday before being interrogated for hours at a local police station.

He has previously denied any wrongdoing regarding his friendship with Epstein.
