I hope I’m wrong about the teen social media ban

Hundreds of thousands of children are being officially kicked off social media platforms today as part of Australia’s “world’s first” social media ban on young people. We have officially been in the post-social media age for a generation. (Unofficially? we will see).
I’ve spent a fair amount of the past year writing about this topic; Nearly 44,000 words over 60-odd stories.
From where? Because the social media ban on teenagers is one of the defining Australian tech stories of this decade. We are taxi driver extraordinaire in a global movement pitting youth safety against big technology.
