Patrick is thought to be staying at the property, which is just a short distance from the couple’s £5 million five-bedroom “forever home” which they bought two years ago and are renovating.
According to the publication, Cat is concerned about how The Late Late Show host handled the end of their marriage.
A source told the press: ‘She’s worried Patrick will take longer to adjust. He misses his family unit and the public division as well as work pressures make things difficult for him.
The source added: ‘Cat still cares about him a lot and wants him to be in a good place for the kids and himself, which makes her a little worried.’
Announcing their separation in July, Cat and Patrick said: ‘We have decided to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
‘We will continue to stand united as loving parents to our children and therefore ask that our family privacy be respected. ‘No further comment will be made.’
The Daily Mail previously revealed that Patrick’s family were still furious that Cat couldn’t attend her beloved mother’s funeral.
They say they knew at that moment that their marriage was over for good.

His ‘no-show’ in March left deep emotional scars on the Kielty family, who said it confirmed there was little chance of reconciliation between the two.
One relative, still upset about the anger and embarrassment he caused the family, told the Daily Mail: ‘Whatever tension there was in the marriage, something as significant as your mother’s funeral, you would make up, even if only temporarily, and put on your ‘best face’, as we say in Northern Ireland.
‘Cat clearly knew how close Patrick was to Mary, and that Mary should have been by his side, with a hand on his shoulder, when he buried his mother.
‘It is not forgotten that he stayed in London and presented This Morning that day.’
The source added: ‘In a close-knit community in Northern Ireland people are always showing up. This is what is done.
‘His family is very upset about this situation. They still can’t believe it. This was the point where we all realized the marriage was over.’
Patrick looked bereft as he carried Mary’s coffin through his native village, where he was joined by close family and friends at the Church of the Sacred Heart.
A spokesperson for Cat told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘Cat stayed home to be with her two young children before and after school on this very sad day.’
