However, one user X shared a video showing a large group of dancers rehearsing for what was described as a closing ceremony. The same user claimed that singer Kailash Kher is also expected to perform at the event. These details have not been confirmed by the BCCI.
Earlier, IPL chief Arun Dhumal had stated that he would take a more measured approach to the celebrations following the Bengaluru stampede incident that killed 11 people during RCB victory celebrations in 2025. The season opened with a commemoration of the victims in Bengaluru.
While official confirmation remains pending, the IPL is expected to feature a mid-innings entertainment segment during the final, similar to the arrangements seen in Qualifier 1 in Dharamshala, which included violin performance, light and laser show and fireworks.
