Iconic 90s dance band N-Trance are back 22 years after releasing their last single – and fans are going wild over their new song

N-Trance returns to the dance scene with a brand new single.

After more than two decades since the release of their last song, the band is back with the track Higher.

In an accompanying music video, the band behind the smash hit Set You Free sings their song on a racetrack.

The ’90s dance show’s cast includes original members Kevin O’Toole and Dale Longworth and features Rachael Chambers and Tricia McTeague on vocals, as well as MC B, Jay McCurdy and DJ Junior K.

After the music video was released on YouTube over the weekend, fans were impressed with their new sound and told the band: ‘Welcome back!’

They commented: ‘For a man born in 1973 and aged 22 when Set You Free exploded, it’s a welcome return to a time when dance music was viable. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since N-Trance released their last music. It shows that talent is not lost. I’m looking forward to the new era of N-Trance. The band’s biggest hit was the synth-heavy dance hit Set You Free, which featured Kelly Llorenna’s incredible vocals, was officially released in 1994 and reached number 39 in the charts.

However, after minor success, the song was re-released in January 1995 following the band’s rise in popularity, this time reaching number two in the charts and becoming their best-selling single to date.

The band, formed in 1990 by Kevin and Dale, re-released a remixed version of the song in 2001, reaching number four.

Kelly had further success with the band, reaching number seven on the chart with her cover version of Rod Stewart’s Do Ya Think I’m Sexy.

Kelly also pursued her own solo career, finding success with songs such as Tell It To My Heart and Heart Of Gold.

He returned to N-Trance in the 2000s, with the band recording songs for their albums.

Throughout her career, Kelly topped the charts in the mid-nineties and early 2000s, racking up six top 10 singles in the UK thanks to her run of cross-club classics.

Kelly still performs today, entertaining fans across the country with numerous performances at nostalgic ’90s dance and club events.

Meanwhile, N-Trace also often performs at 90s-themed events in the UK and Europe.
