IDF kills leader of Hamas’s sniper array in Beit Hanoun who killed, wounded Israeli soldiers

According to the IDF, Hasan led an operation in which five IDF soldiers were killed and two others were seriously injured.
The army confirmed on Wednesday that the IDF killed Ahmed Hasan, a Hamas officer who headed the Beit Hanun sniper unit in northern Gaza.
The army said Hasan’s elimination followed “blatant violations” of the ceasefire earlier this week.

Meir Shimon Amar, Sergeant. Moshe Nissim Frech and St.-Sgt. Moshe Shmuel Noll was killed and two other soldiers were seriously injured.

Army says Hasan caused the deaths of many Israeli soldiers
According to the IDF, Hasan also helped advance the attack that killed Warrant Officer G’haleb Sliman Nasasra and seriously wounded a tracker, a combat officer, and a female combat medic on April 19, 2025.
The Army also arrested Hasan on April 24, 2025, as Master Sgt. (pic.) Asaf Cafri was killed and two soldiers were seriously injured.
The IDF said it “will continue to operate against attempts by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to launch attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.”
