IGL cooking gas price in Delhi-NCR: India’s largest city gas retailer Indraprastha Gas Ltd has announced a Rs 0.70 discount on natural gas prices supplied to home kitchens for cooking in Delhi and NCR towns. In a post on X, the company said that the reduction in rates will be effective from January 1. This reduction follows the recent revision of pipeline tariffs by industry regulator Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB). “IGL has announced a significant reduction of Rs 0.70 per standard cubic meter (scm) in domestic piped natural gas (PNG) prices for its consumers in Delhi and NCR in the coming New Year,” he said.
IGL cooking gas new price in Delhi-NCR
After discount, the revised price will be Rs 47.89 per cm2 in Delhi, Rs 46.70 per cm2 in Gurugram and Rs 47.76 per cm2 in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. Think Gas has already announced discounts on CNG and domestic PNG prices in multiple states ahead of the new tariff regime coming into effect on January 1, 2026.
PNGRB on December 16 announced a rationalized tariff structure for electricity generation, fertilizer production, CNG making and pipelines moving natural gas used as fuel in home kitchens. The revised tariffs, effective January 1, make natural gas transportation simpler, fairer and more affordable for consumers and the urban gas distribution sector.
IGL has announced a significant discount of 0.70 per SCM on domestic PNG prices for its consumers in Delhi and NCR in the coming New Year. The revised price after discount will be 47.89 per SCM in Delhi, 46.70 per SCM in Gurugram and 47.76 per SCM in Greater Noida.
