Illinois woman arrested in Wisconsin after traffic stop finds guns, drugs, and a child sleeping on the floor

CALEDONIA, Wisconsin (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin said an Illinois woman was arrested after drugs and a firearm were found in the vehicle along with a child sleeping on the ground during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
According to the statement made by District of Columbia Sheriff’s Officedeputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 90/94/39 in Caledonia Township around 1:30 a.m. after a vehicle was spotted on radar going 95 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Deputies approached the vehicle during a traffic stop and noticed a small child sleeping on the floor of the back seats without any safety precautions.

While the investigation was ongoing, K9 Rico was deployed to conduct a free air sweep, during which he alerted the car and during the search, THC, drug paraphernalia indicative of drug trafficking, and a loaded firearm were seized within reach of the driver.
The driver, 21-year-old Estrella Heredia Juarez of Crest Hill, Illinois, was arrested and taken to the Columbia County Jail; Here, it was determined that he had approximately 42 grams of suspected fentanyl on him during the purchase process.
Juarez was sentenced for the following charges.

Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl (10-50 grams)

Possession of drug materials
Juarez made his first court appearance Wednesday and was released on $500 signature bail. No other information is available at this time.
