NASA SpaceX launch LIVE: Four astronauts on Crew12 blasting off to ISS in Falcon 9 | US | News

NASA’s highly anticipated Artemis 2 lunar mission hit a dead end 10 days ago when engineers discovered a leak of liquid hydrogen during testing.

The 10-day Artemis II mission is the first crewed flight of NASA’s major return to the moon. After launch, Artemis II’s plan is to circle the Earth twice.

Today’s SpaceX Crew Dragon flight will operate as planned while teams work to resolve the issue. Four astronauts (Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, Sophie Adenot and Andrei Fadyaev) will take off from Kennedy Space Center shortly.
