Prince William and Kate made a surprise visit to Borough Market this morning, meeting traders working at the cheese counter, café and dessert establishment.
The pair met cheesemakers from Change Please charity Trethowan Brothers, which provides barista training for homeless people and dessert company Humble Crumble.
Kensington Palace said the Prince and Princess of Wales’ trip was the first of a series of events in and around London’s River Thames today.
