Notorious incest offender Fritzl bids for early release

Josef Fritzl, a 90 -year -old man who was convicted of incest and kept his daughter prisoner for decades and suffered sexual harassment, asked for a life imprisonment early.
The Cream Court of Krems Region in Austria confirmed that Fritzl’s lawyer Astrid Wagner offered an early release request.
The lawyer had previously talked about the request on Podcast Plädoyer Für Verbreche (defense for criminals).
He argued that Fritzl was sentenced to more than 15 years of imprisonment and therefore the legal requirements were met for such a movement.
“I think this deserves this chance,” he said.
However, Wagner is waiting for it to take some time before it happens.
In 1984, Fritzl locked his 18 -year -old daughter in the basement of his house. He raped thousands of times for the next 24 years and worked as a father to seven children. One of them died shortly after birth.
According to the authorities, the spouse who lived on the first floor of the house with the rest of the family was not aware of any of them.
The case appeared in 2008 and found worldwide headlines.
In March 2009, Fritzl was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder for murder with negligence, rape, the deprivation of freedom, aggravated coercion, slavery and incest. Fritzl received a new surname in prison.
Last year, the demand for early release failed. The court said Fritzl’s lack of preparation for a high level of penalty energy and a life of freedom.
