It was claimed that Sarah Ferguson may have had sexual intercourse with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The former Duchess of York was a prominent figure in recent dossiers on the ailing financier, with emails likely revealing feelings between the pair.

The emails may also have shed light on the relationships between the couple and their partners; It is understood that Epstein supported Ferguson financially at various points in the early 2000s. The exchanges appear to be going down the drain, with Ferguson scolding the multimillionaire for not reciprocating his feelings for her and asking her to “marry me” in another. It has since been claimed that Ferguson and Epstein slept together, and that her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell may also have been in a relationship.

Speaking live on the ‘Lownie Report’ podcast on Substack, royal writer Andrew Lownie claimed: “Andrew was sleeping with Ghislaine, Ghislaine was sleeping with Epstein… I heard that Epstein and Sarah were sleeping together. That doesn’t surprise me.”

He added: “There is a complex psychosexual web as well as financial. Ghislaine and Sarah were definitely not friends. I think Ghislaine was quite jealous of Sarah and vice versa. She felt that Sarah had moved on to someone she considered her boyfriend.”

The author expanded on his claims and said: Mirror: “Sarah Ferguson was madly in love with Epstein and apparently spent several nights with him.”

Files released in 2025 revealed the dynamic between Ferguson and Epstein, prompting many charities and organizations to cut ties with the former duchess.

The latest release of more than 3 million documents called the Epstein files may have shed more light on the dynamic.

Sarah allegedly sent an email to Epstein in September 2011, congratulating him on having a “baby boy” (she wasn’t previously known to have had children), and then allegedly sent a seething follow-up text moments later.

“I don’t know if you’re still on this bbm [BlackBerry Messenger] “But I heard from the Duke that you are having a baby boy,” the first email allegedly said. “Although you have never stayed in touch, I am still here with love, friendship and congratulations. [sic] on his son. “Sarah xx.”

Just eight minutes later, she allegedly wrote: “You disappeared. I didn’t even know you were having a baby. It was obvious you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And it truly hurt me deeply. More than you will ever know.”

In another correspondence from 2009, he allegedly wrote: “You are a legend. I truly have no words to describe, my love, I am grateful for your generosity and kindness… xx I am at your service. Just marry me.”
