India tariffs doubled to 50%: Trump says he may modify order in case of retaliation

With an additional 25% import tariff in India, US President Donald Trump said that if any foreign country retaliate against the US in response to the movement, the provisions could be changed at the executive order. Emir strengthened Trump for future changes based on new intelligence, foreign retaliation or changes in aligning with the US policy.
“To ensure that the emergency described in section 1 of this order is discussed, I can change this order, including additional information, suggestions from senior authorities or changing conditions. If a foreign country retaliate against the US in response to this action, I can change this order to ensure the effectiveness of the actions here.”
Emir also said that if the Russian Federation government or a foreign country affected by this decision, I could change this order even more if it is aligned with the US and national security, foreign policy and economic issues with the US and the US. On Wednesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to make 25% more tariffs for Russian oil purchases and brought the US combined tariffs to India to 50%.

Tariffs will be enacted 21 days after the signing of the order, that is to say, both India and Russia may be time to negotiate with the administration on import taxes.
Trump’s movement can reshape India’s economic ambitions. Many American companies saw India as an alternative to Chinese manufacturing, which Trump hoped to decrease using tariffs. Although China bought oil from Russia, it was not subject to additional tariffs in the order signed by the President of the Beijing Republic.
The US and China are currently in trade negotiations, Washington brings 30% tariff to Chinese goods and faces 10% retaliation tax on American products from Beijing.
