Why older workers can be ‘too qualified’ to get a new job
There are several warning signs because you are on the road to the ‘administrator land’ that should pay attention to mid -late career workers. These include too much trust in past glory and performances, in -depth falling to a narrow expertise, and not to keep up with the changes in technology, trends and changes in your industry.

If you find yourself in this position, there are a few things you can do. Most importantly, it is to talk about it. This is a growing issue with society as well as a problem with the society, and there are always more people than you are in a similar position to you.
Realize the fact that it will take longer to find a job you are more senior, so try to plan in advance by saving in advance. The worst scenario can be up to 18 months without a full -time job.
In the meantime, stay as visible as possible throughout the process, keep yourself busy with mentoring to share some of your information with others.
Go to the events and continue to cry about the relevant conversations in your sector and participate in social media (even if this word tricked you).
In all extra time in your calendar, increase new trends using your time to UPSKIll in areas through short courses, training and experiments. Finally, besieged yourself with family, friends and new routines because it can be lonely and dyspirif.
Nobody willingly visits the ‘manager’s land’, but if you find yourself in this position, sometimes the first step of navigation is to know exactly where you are.
