India vs Pakistan Super 4: Andy Pycroft to referee Asia Cup match again amid handshake controversy

The upcoming match will be held in the same place where the debate emerged. The full list of the match officials for the match on Sunday has not yet been published. Another match referee for the tournament is the former West Indian Islands Captain Richie Richardson.
Andy Pycroft, last Sunday, the Pakistan team following the policy of the Pakistan team did not shake hands as a match referee. The debate appeared to be the captain of India, Surekumar Yadav, put Pycroft in the spotlight and did not follow the handshake agreement in the shooting.
The Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) sent two E -Post to ICC – first asked Pycroft to be removed from the tournament and then asked the matches to be excluded.
Both requests were rejected by the ICC standing behind the distinguished panel referee. The ICC rejected the PCB’s allegations that Pycroft violated the “Spirit of the Game” code and announced that only the Asian Cricket Council gave instructions from the venue manager.
