Bihar CM transfers ₹1,247.34 crore to pensioners

Bihar Prime Minister Nitish Kumar transferred to 1247,34 Crore on August 10, 2025 on Sunday, more than 1.12 Crore retirement through the DBT system. This is part of the social security pension plan.

1,100 ₹ pension for July was transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries.

A transfer ceremony program was organized in 38 regions of Bihar, including public representatives of the region, regional magistrate and beneficiaries.

Mr. Kumar said that the transfer of the retirement of the elderly, the disabled people and the widows to the bank accounts is a matter of happiness.

PENSION INCREASED

Pension was increased from 400 to 1,100 per month by the state government from June to 1,100.

Last month, approximately 1 Lakh new beneficiary was added within the scope of the pension plan. Mr. Kumar claimed that he had worked tirelessly for the development of the state since he came to power in November 2005.

Kumar said, ık We have started many plans for the rise of all sections and we are working for the welfare of the weaknesses of the society, Kumar said. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, apart from other cabinet colleagues.

3 out of six Social Security Pension Plan is carried out by the central government.

During the program, a short film based on the Social Security Pension Program was scanned for the Prime Minister.
