Prashant Kishor says he’ll contest Bihar polls; Jan Suraaj Party to name candidates on October 9

Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, announced on Monday, October 6, 2025 to the upcoming parliamentary surveys in Bihar and that the list of his party’s candidates would be announced on 9 October.

The parliamentary elections in Bihar will be held on 6 and 11 November, the votes will be counted on November 14, and the chief election commissioner Gyanesh gambling announced in Delhi in the early hours of the day.

Speaking with journalists here, Mr. Kishor, “The party will declare the list of candidates for the future parliamentary surveys on October 9th and will be full of surprises. My name will be on the list,” he said.

However, the former survey strategist did not disclose the name of the election zone where it would compete.

He said, “You will recognize it on October 9th.”

Asked about the possibility of the Jan Suraaj Party, Mr. Kishor claimed that he would vote for 28% voters who did not vote for the Indian block in his party.

“In recent surveys, the two alliances only received 72 percent of the voters. I have to clarify that we will vote for the rest of the voters.

People say that they will decisively harm the votes of the Jan Suraaj Party and the votes of the Indian block.

Mr. Kishor claimed that JD (U) Supremo Nitish Kumar would no longer be prime minister after the chests.

“I say with full confidence that this would be the last election of Nitish Kumar. He said.

He added that this election would write a new department in Bihar, because people will vote for the bright future of their children against migration and unemployment.
