112 IndiGo flights cancelled at Hyderabad airport today; total disruptions cross 600

Flight disruptions at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) continued on Monday, December 8, 2025, with one of the 112 IndiGo flights canceled for the day. The cancellations, which included 58 arrivals and 54 departures, further increase the burden on passengers who have been struggling with uncertainty for several days.

As the IndiGo outage enters its sixth day, the total number of canceled flights at the Hyderabad airport since December 3 has crossed 600.

IndiGo issued a status update on Sunday, December 7, 2025, stating that operations have resumed in 137 out of 138 destinations. The airline said it was on track to operate 1,650 flights during the day, compared to 1,500 on December 6. He also noted that on-time performance improved from 30% on December 6 to 75% on December 7. A full waiver of reservation cancellations and rescheduling requests until December 15 was also announced.

Despite these assurances, travelers continue to struggle with the cascading effect of cancellations. Many passengers expressed their situation on social media.

“You have ruined three days of our life with your poor management. I had a flight from Guwahati to Hyderabad canceled twice. I had to take another flight to Mumbai and then a train to Hyderabad, resulting in me losing work days and my old father had to suffer,” Poornima Ramachandran wrote on X

“I was stuck in my flight from Hyderabad to Surat with no clarity. I requested cancellation and full refund, but there was no support. My father is not well and needs medicine and food on time. This delay is critical for us,” said Nawrah Fatima.

Soumi Mukherjee said, “My flight from Hyderabad to Bagdogra has been canceled and there is no alternative airline. I am stranded in Hyderabad and have no way of returning home. Please help immediately.”
