State police looking for missing 75-year-old pilot who took off in small airplane in Indiana County

Pennsylvania state police ask for help to find a lost pilot on a small plane in Indiana district on Wednesday evening.

The soldiers said 75 -year -old David Edward Edward Wittmer has blown ultra light planes and applied touch and git in a field near Church Street in Young Township. 18:00 – 18:30 around the field and has not yet returned.

Wittmer’s truck was found near the field and was found in a nearby camper using the phone.

According to the release of the state police, the inspectors Wittmer and the plane believe that the field will be in a radius of two to six miles. However, they added that the aircraft could have a range of 100 miles.

State troops, members of the PSP Aviation Patrol Unit and local firefighters searched over one night and continued to search again on Thursday morning.

Wittmer is defined as 6 feet, 1 inch, 180 kilos, gray hair and brown eyes.
