Authorities issued an urgent “do not eat” warning seafood recall due to possible health risks. Young’s Seafood is recalling Gastro 2 Lemon and Pepper Fish Fillets because they contain mustard not specified on the label.
Popular product worth £2.60 Available in most major supermarkets in the UK including Tesco, Sainsbury’s. and Iceland. The Food Standards Agency said in a statement: “This product contains mustard, making it a possible health risk for anyone with a mustard allergy.”
It added: “Young’s Seafood is recalling the above product from its customers and members are advised to contact their relevant allergy support organization who will inform them of the recall. “The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers.
“These notifications explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they purchase the product.”
The FSA continued: “If you have purchased the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.”
