Aston Villa: Unai Emery backs England striker Ollie Watkins to end goal drought

Morgan Rogers changed the name of the Halle End striker when he delivered the ball to Ollie Watkins.
Watkins’ name was again supported by Bologna’s Lukasz Skorupski.
British striker, despite the victory of the Europa League on Thursday, is based on a 10 -game drought for the club and the country at a time when Villa needs it in the sharpest way.
Nine matches, which did not score goals in the club shirt, have been the longest to go without a goal in the villa career.
The second half of the spot was an ideal chance to end this, but the frictional strike lacked confidence and allowed Skorupski to save his legs.
Watkins could not appoint three of his last five sentences for the villa, including the loss in the Champions League against Celtic last season.
Ultimately – thanks to Marco Bizot’s late savings from Martin Stress – Villa’s early strike of John McGinn was very important for the season to win the first win.
Patron, Unai Emery’nin relief after the victory and Watkins’in drought to end up allowed to claim safely.
Emery, “did not score goals, okay, it doesn’t matter, the target comes today.” He said.
“I’m happy because he played his mission. He worked, that’s most importantly.
“He put pressure, he was in duels, he had a chance, he got a punishment, he missed it, but most importantly [thing] How did he play in 30 minutes while he was doing his job and did a great job.
“After every match, he should feel the way I feel now, be happy because he did his job. He has to feel the same and feel better if he scored goals.
“The most important thing is how he works for the team. Today he played a good match, not enough, he didn’t score, but he played well. This is the first step.”
Watkins’ struggles can withdraw to the second half of last season, when Villa scored only four times in the last 19 matches.
The 29-year-old child started 13, but the Champions League quarter-final defeat was excluded from the starting line by Paris St-Germain and played only 25 minutes on both legs.
He missed five of his great chance this season, only 40 touches in the opposition box in nine appearances, and he has an average shot on the target per game.
