Educated and strong women are the pillars of a progressive nation, President Droupadi Murmu said while celebrating International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
In a post on
“Let us take this opportunity to reaffirm our collective determination to build a society where every woman has equal opportunities to grow up and live in dignity, safety and freedom,” Ms. Murmu said.
The President said educated and strong women are the pillars of a progressive nation.
“Together, let’s create an environment where women’s aspirations and achievements shape a more equitable future,” she added.
