Internet infrastructure firm Cloudflare hit by outage

Multiple websites, including social media platform X, were affected by an outage affecting internet infrastructure company Cloudflare.

Outage tracking site Downdetector flagged thousands of reports of the problem shortly after 11:30 GMT on Tuesday.

“Cloudflare is aware of and is investigating an issue that may impact multiple customers,” the company said in a note on its service status dashboard at 1148 UTC.

“More details will be provided as more information becomes available.”
