Invitation Extended to Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate CM Cup-2026
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has been invited to attend the inauguration of the CM Cup-2026, which is scheduled to begin on February 20 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
Youth Services and Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari, State Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy and Sports Authority MD Dr. He extended a formal invitation to the Prime Minister along with Sonibala Devi.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka expressed happiness over the introduction of advanced technological features and a special information system in the 2nd edition of CM’s Cup 2025-26, organized to promote rural sports in Telangana.
He said Telangana Sports Department’s initiative to organize the CM Cup with a focus on strengthening rural sports and identifying hidden talents at the grassroots is highly commendable. He stated that the competitions were organized in line with the government’s goal of encouraging youth and students to stay away from other anti-social elements and actively participate in sports activities.
He stated that around 4.6 lakh athletes have registered and 22,000 players have been selected to compete in State level competitions, which is a matter of great pride.
To ensure timely communication and updates for participants, “CM’s Cup Games” introduced the Nilamani mobile application integrated with an AI-powered call center that provides athletes with 24/7 information access.
The competitions covering 44 sports branches in 12 districts are expected to be a great success. He expressed hope that these games will produce outstanding champions in the coming years. Telangana State Sports Authority officials and other dignitaries attended the event.
