Iowa duo served a family drug-laced lasagna to induce relative’s miscarriage, police say

35 year old man Iowa became the second person arrested and was accused of using drug-laced lasagna to induce a woman to miscarry.

Investigators say Snow’s child was present when the drugged lasagna was prepared and eaten.

A later analysis by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation Crime Laboratory revealed that the food was laced with oxycodone.
Police records show that the woman targeted in the poisoning was not injured and the fetus survived.
Investigators allegedly found evidence of the conspiracy by examining text messages and internet search histories between Uthoff and Snow.

Snow’s trial will be held on April 7.
