IPL Auction 2026: Indian pacer Akash Deep goes unsold

Indian pacer Akash Deep remained unsold at the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, despite entering the auction at a base price of ₹1 crore.

The move comes after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) launched the right-arm fast-medium bowler ahead of the IPL 2026 auction cycle. The 29-year-old played six matches for LSG in IPL 2025 and took three wickets at an economy rate of 12.05. During his overall IPL career, Akash Deep played 14 matches in which he took 10 wickets.
