iQOO will be launched in the Indian market as a watered down version of iQOO 15. iQOO’s launch date is February 24, 2026, and new details have been added to the Amazon microsite. iQOO 15R is shaping up to be a high-performance device for gaming and demanding tasks. One of the nods about the iQOO is its 7,600mAh battery, which is larger even by current standards. What makes this interesting is that despite the large battery, iQOO claims that the device will be only 7.9mm thick. The phone is also expected to support fast charging and if the rumors are true, it may offer 100W wired charging.

iQOO India launch date, price

-iQOO is slowly revealing details about its upcoming smartphone iQOO 15R ahead of its India launch scheduled for February 24.

iQOO 15R: Q2 gaming chip and new OriginOS 6 version

iQOO has a live microsite showing important details about the upcoming iQOO 15 series design and features. The phone is expected to feature a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display with adaptive display switching for smoother navigation.
The iQOO 15R is expected to include a Q2 gaming chip aimed at low-latency, advanced gaming performance. It is likely to run on OriginOS 6, similar to recent iQOO launches.

iQOO 15R is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and promises flagship-level performance at a relatively lower price. Design highlights include dual-tone finish, metal body, and IP68/IP69 ratings for durability.

It is expected to feature a large 6.59-inch display with 1.5K resolution (possibly slightly larger). The camera setup may include a 200 MP primary sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens.

The battery could be a massive 7,600mAh unit with 100W wired charging support. The expected starting price could be around Rs 55,000.

iQOO 15R: Learn its technical specifications

iQOO will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Speculations are that we will also see 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage on the device. Apart from this, it has been confirmed that the same will work on OriginOS 16 which is based on Android 6 operating system.

The phone may have a dual rear camera setup and is expected to include a 200MP primary camera with OIS.

It will probably have an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens. A 32 MP front camera may be offered for selfies and video calls.
