Iran Executes Man Accused Of Spying For Israel Amid Escalating Tensions | World News

According to the judiciary of the Islamic Republic, Iran executed a man who was guilty of espionage for the Israeli intelligence service on Monday.

“Mohammad Amin Mahdavi Shayeste, this morning, was hung for intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime.” He said. (The Zionist regime is the term used by Iran for Israel)

Shayesteh was arrested in 2023 because Israel was alleged to have connections with the intelligence agency MOSSAD.

This comes as long as the tension between Iran and Israel continues to increase.

Previously, on June 14, a man accused of espionage for Iran officials Mossad executed.

Iran’s Mehr News Agency, “Israel was executed after the full criminal case of the MOSSAD spy, the decision was supported by the Supreme Court of Iran,” he said.

According to reports, Esmail Fekri was arrested in December 2023 during a complex intelligence operation by Iranian security agencies.

Execution comes at a time when the war between the two countries continues to intensify and is a global attention to threaten the peace of all Western Asia, a region that is already facing a large geopolitical turbulence.

There is not much information about Fakhri’s arrest, trial proceedings or certain accusations, because the cases related to espionage rarely provided all the details, given the sensitivities related to him.

The Iranian Judiciary Mizan News Agency reported that Fecri is trying to send Iran’s classified and sensitive information to Mossad in exchange for money.

In late May, Iran announced that another individual, described as pedrama madani, was executed on espionage conviction for Israel.

The Iranian media claimed that the police in Alborz, West of Tehran, arrested two people suspected of connecting with Mossad. Later in the day, Israel said that Iran has arrested two citizens suspected of working for intelligence services.

These cases reflect the continuous tensions between Iran and Israeli intelligence organizations, which deal with secret intelligence and counter -intelligence operations and reduce a heavy blow to each other through secret operations.

The two intelligence organizations are engaged in a Tat from the beginning of the Tat that combines classical espionage, sabotage, air strikes and other hidden assassinations.

A few reports claimed that Israeli spies were already on the ground and that they were smuggling on hostile lands long before the release of air strikes in Tehran.
