Iran has likely carried out an undeclared missile test, satellite photos analyzed by the AP show

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (AP) – Iranian Imam Khomeini probably performed a missing missile test on Spaceport, emphasizing the effort to maintain Tehran’s arms program by showing the satellite photos analyzed by Associated Press on Thursday. 12 -day war with Israel in June.

Iran did not officially accept the test last week, but performed on a circular pad with others. Great launch by the country’s civil space program. However, a single deputy in the Iranian Parliament claimed that Tehran had tested a possible intercontinental ballistic missile without offering evidence.

The test and claim expresses concerns that Iran may be trying to expand its access to its missiles because tensions are high. United Nations sanctions that can be re -appealing This weekend, Tehran’s nuclear program – is also repairing the missile areas shot by the Israelis.

“Israel’s achievements in the 12 -day war against Iran’s missile attacks against Iran’s missile attacks, the importance of developing more ballistic missiles for Tehran, and qualitatively better versions,” said the Washington -based Democracies Foundation Analyst Analyst. Iran for a long time Approved by Tehran.

“Think of this part of Tehran’s efforts to build better and as quickly as possible,” he added.

Scorch marks seen on the launch pad

On Thursday, September 18, Iran’s social media users published images of the sky in Semnan province and seemed to be the contrast of a rocket at sunset. Iranian authorities did not accept what was caused by the counter and that the Iranian state media did not accept its report on the incident.

Satellite photographs taken by Planet Labs PBC before that are about 230 kilometers (145 miles) in Iran’s capital Tehran – red, white and green lines – painted with the colors of the Iranian flag.

However, in satellite images since September 18, the pad seemed colorless, but a more detailed planetary image requested by the EP was not completely clear until this Wednesday was taken.

This image shows important traces of fighting that resembles the pattern Roasting on Ped Following the past launch. When the rockets start, flames are poured from their engines to pads.

Fabian Hinz, a research assistant at the International Strategic Studies Institute, examining missiles, said that the scale of roasting has started a solid missile because Iran causes such traces.

North-south signs show that an explosion deviation is also used to channel flames.

An intercontinental ballistic missile claim

Mohsen Zanganeh, a member of the Iranian Parliament on Saturday, appeared on Iranian state television, claimed that the Islamic Republic had started an intercontinental ballistic missile on Thursday. He described Iran as a sign of Iran’s power because it faced difficulties from Israel and the West.

Zanganeh, a member of the Parliament of the Parliament of Parliament from Khorasan Razavi Province of Iran, said, “We did not enrich the nuclear), nor did we deliver the Uranium to the enemy, nor withdraw from our missile positions.”

“The last night we tested one of the country’s most advanced missiles, which has not been tried – and this test was successful,” he said.

“In other words,” he added. He continued: “Even under these conditions, I want to say that we have done a security test of an intercontinental missile.”

Zanganeh did not provide any evidence to support where he received his information and his claim. Members of the Iranian Parliament made exaggerated claims in the past.

Intercontinental ballistic missiles typically have more intervals than 5,500 kilometers (3,415 miles). This goes far beyond The range allowed by Iran’s supreme leader Ayatullah Ali Khaneii2,000 kilometers (1.240 miles).

The 2,000 kilometers range covers most of the Middle East, including Israel and American military bases in the region. An intercontinental missile puts at least all over Europe and beyond anger. The central command of the US army, which controls the Middle East operations, did not respond to the request for comments.

Questions left on the launch

In spite of the allegations of the deputy, there are many questions, including what Iran still sends to the sky.

Iran used Ped in the past to start strict fuel missiles ZuljanahAfter a horse of Imam Hussein, a key figure killed by the warriors in Karbala in the 7th century in the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad and the Shiite belief.

Zuljanah can throw satellites in space. However, the use of solid fuel and its ability to reach the field expressed concerns that Iran could potentially build an intercontinental ballistic missile by the US government.

“Test, as it is increasingly claimed, represents the desire to potentially threaten the targets outside the Middle East, such as the European continent and even the American homeland, a space-success vehicle,” demand.

Such missiles can give nuclear weapons, but the Iran Long Nuclear program continued to be peaceful. The US intelligence organizations also consider that Iran does not actively receive atomic bombs, but it enriched the uranium up to 60%-a technical step shorter than the 90% weapon level levels. Iran would also have to minimize possible nuclear bombs to put it on a ballistic missile.

Iran is that the launch may have failed, with the official acceptance of the launch and the irregular contract left behind. Iran’s US space officials do not have a approval that puts new satellites into space on September 18th.

Iran may also have used the launch to point out that it will continue the missile program despite sanctions and pressures – although it was not official approval, it remains unclear what Tehran is trying to do.

Hinz said, “The problem is that much happens in Iran,” Hinz said. “It’s hard to say what’s a coincidence and what the pattern is.”
