Israel-Iran war: Donald Trump to make call on US strike ‘within two weeks’

US President Donald Trump said that the US will continue its intervention in the Israeli-Iranian conflict for two more weeks in order to give the Islamic Republic a chance to negotiate a negotiation.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized that on Thursday, journalists (local time) gave a direct message from Mr. Trump and that the US president was determined to prevent Iran from receiving nuclear bombs.

Ms. Leavitt told Mr. Trump: ım I will decide whether I will go within the next two weeks, based on the fact that there is an important negotiation of Iran in the near future. ”

Leavitt clearly said that the US president’s primary focus is not to maintain the regime change in Iran, but to prevent the country from buying a nuclear weapon.

He emphasized how close the Iranian regime is to this ability, not only threatening Israel’s security, but also a serious risk for the US and the global community.

“He has everything Iran needs to get a nuclear weapon,” he said.

“The only thing they need is the decision to do this from the Supreme Leader. And it will take a few weeks to complete the production of this weapon.”

Leavitt described the situation as an existential threat “not only for Israel, but also for the United States and the whole world”.

“And this is something that the whole world, including countries like Russia, agrees that Iran should not buy and get a nuclear weapon.”

On Wednesday, Mr. Trump said he didn’t know what to do. The day before, he thought about killing Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khanei on social media, and then asked Iran to surrender unconditionally.
