Iran threatens Nvidia, Apple and other tech giants with attack

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened to attack Iran Including some US technology companies operating in the Middle East Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft And Google.
The Revolutionary Guard warned on Tuesday that 18 technology companies would be considered “legitimate targets” in retaliation for US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
In a post on Telegram, translated by Google, the Revolutionary Guard stated that attacks on these companies would begin at 20:00 Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1, and warned employees in these companies to leave their workplaces immediately to protect their lives.
“From now on, with every assassination, an American company will be destroyed,” they said on the Telegram channel affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards.
The list of companies also stood out Cisco, HP, Intel, Seer, IBM’s, Dell, palantirJP Morgan, Tesla’sGE, Spire Solutions, Boeing’s and UAE-based artificial intelligence company G42.
This follows Iranian attacks on AWS data centers in the Middle East earlier this month, which caused disruptions to a number of applications and digital services in the United Arab Emirates.
In recent years, US technology companies have been pouring resources into the Middle East, which offers access to cheap energy and land, especially around building artificial intelligence infrastructure.
“The safety and well-being of our team is our number one priority,” an Intel spokesperson told CNBC. “We are taking steps to protect and support our workers and facilities in the Middle East and are actively monitoring the situation.”
All companies listed in the Telegram post have been reached for comment. Google and JP Morgan declined to comment.
