Iran has threatened to hit American military bases if Donald Trump orders an attack on Tehran.
US facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Türkiye could be targeted as part of retaliatory measures against Washington.
President Trump has warned that the US will take ‘very strong action’ if the Iranian regime hangs pro-democracy protesters along with a young shopkeeper who is scheduled to be executed.
Erfan Soltani, 26, is feared to be the first person executed during the demonstrations and reports indicate he will be hanged on Wednesday morning local time.
