Iran threats to target US big tech in the Middle East; Australia fuel excise cut comes into effect

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said on Tuesday that they would target US companies in the region starting April 1 in retaliation for attacks against Iran, state media reported.

Among the 18 companies listed under threat from the Revolutionary Guard were Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla and Boeing.

“These companies should expect their units to be destroyed for every terrorist act in Iran, starting at 20:00 Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1,” the IRGC statement said. The statement was included.

Earlier this month, Iran threatened to attack “the enemy’s technology infrastructure.”
