‘I made £175 profit from a Ryanair flight due to 1 rule’ | UK | News

A Ryanair passenger explained how they managed to turn a delayed flight into the opportunity to make money. The traveler would go on a 45 -minute internal flight in the UK, which paid only £ 30 for tickets. They went to Reddit to share their stories and announced that their journey was delayed for three hours.

According to the passenger mission, passengers were informed about the delay via E -mail, which contains a small loan for food and beverages at the airport. However, the insightful traveler noticed a subtle pressure on the E -mail on the rights of compensation in the EU. They noticed that if their flights were postponed for at least three hours, they could have the right to compensation.

Considering the British departure from the EU and the three -hour full delay, they decided to maintain it despite the first concerns about whether they were suitable for compensation.

“We touched the asphalt late for 2hr58 minutes, but we stopped moving for 3 hours and 2 minutes, so I was sure they would try to use it to get rid of paying it.”

After the landing, passenger, reservation numbers and bank details by providing complaints to Ryanir. The traveler added: “You should check your claim yourself because they do not send you updates.”

Two weeks later, they chased Ryanir and was informed that it could last for 30 days. “But then that day later appeared in my money account!” They remembered, announced that they had received 205 £ compensation.

Passenger added: “Anyway, if you fly in the EU and delayed, it is definitely worth applying for compensation!”

The others came with experiences demanding money for delayed flights.

Someone wrote: “Beautiful! A few years ago I had a similar to a Wizzair flight, from Prague to Luton to flight only 20 £ 20, but I got £ 220 in compensation.

“FYI – The moment when they use it as a time of arrival for compensation, one of the doors is opened at the door or at the stand at the stand. The first touched or not in taxis.”

Another said: “There was something similar to Ryanir, I just contacted the APF (I Austrian). They were interested in him in two weeks and I had money in a month. I should love the protection of consumer rights.”
