Pineville man charged with sexual offenses apparently released from custody, deputies

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Bell County Sheriff’s Department announced Saturday that deputies were notified of an incident. Pineville man charged with multiple sex crimes person released from custody.

Bell County Sheriff’s Office said: social media post On November 15, it was reported that 35-year-old Randall Storms was first arrested on May 30, 2025, on various sexual charges. Mary Hunter, 53, was also arrested for allegedly trying to tell law enforcement she was not at home the night authorities arrived to serve the warrant.

He was charged with kidnapping, first-degree rape of a minor, first-degree sexual abuse of a child under 12, third-degree terroristic threats and procuring or encouraging the use of a minor by electronic means, according to court documents.

The post stated that the Bell County Grand Jury received evidence from the deputy in charge of the case on October 23.

“The Grand Jury returned an actual bill and Randall Storms was indicted on the above charges,” officials said. “The sheriff’s department has no information regarding the circumstances or circumstances of his release from custody.”

Storms’ trial is scheduled for January 16, 2026.
