Trump tells Iranian military forces to surrender or face ‘guaranteed death’

Trump was spotted with Argentinian and Inter Miami star Lionel Messi

Donald Trump said the Iranian regime must surrender to its beleaguered military force or face ‘guaranteed death’, while his war minister warned the US that ‘it has only just begun’.

Speaking in front of David Beckham’s Inter Miami team at the White House, Trump said: ‘I once again call on all members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, army and police to lay down their weapons.

‘Now is the time to stand with the Iranian people and help take back your country.

Mr Trump also claimed Iran wanted to ‘make a deal’ to end the US military operation.

He said: ‘They call and say, ‘How will we make a deal?’

‘And I said, ‘You’re a little late,’ and now we want to fight more than they do.’

He also claimed that Iran’s navy was ‘gone’ and that the US had destroyed ’24 ships in three days’, adding: ‘They have no air force, no air defence.’
