Iran’s top Shia cleric issues ‘fatwa’ against Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu: ‘Make enemies regret their…’

Ayatollah Makerem Shirazi, one of Iran’s most senior Shiite clergy, declared US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a newly regulated ‘fatwa’ (religious decree) as “enemies of God”.

“Any person or regime who threatens the leader or Marja is considered the enemy of God.” He said.

According to the semi -official Mehr news agency, in a statement published by his office on Sunday, Shirazi called on Muslims in the world to take a definite attitude towards such threats, if a Muslim who meets a Muslim mission, if they will experience difficulties or losses in their campaigns, will be rewarded as a warrior to God.
