Three Missing Words in Ceasefire Plan Could Make a Fool of Trump

An important statement not included in the English version of Iran’s 10-point ceasefire plan with the United States could backfire on President Donald Trump. On Tuesday, the United States and Iran reached an agreement on a two-week conditional ceasefire, 90 minutes before Trump’s 8 p.m. deadline, after which Trump said he would destroy Iran. In a statement made by Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and sent to Truth Social by Trump, Araghchi claimed that Iranian forces will “cease defensive operations” and passage through the strait will be allowed with the “coordination” of Iranian forces.
