Minimum temperature in Telangana likely to dip by 3-4°C over next two days

Minimum temperatures in isolated areas of Telangana are likely to remain below normal and drop by 3°C or 4°C in the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its bulletin published on Monday, December 15, 2025.

However, the weather agency did not issue a cold wave warning for any region in the state and stated that dry weather conditions were expected to prevail.

Hyderabad and surrounding areas will see mostly clear skies for the next 24 hours. It is highly likely that fog or misty conditions will prevail during the morning or night hours. The bulletin stated that the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 30°C and 14°C, respectively.

Meanwhile, according to data from Telangana Development Planning Association, seven districts in the state recorded minimum temperatures of 10°C or lower between December 14 and 15; The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Sirpur in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district at 7.6°C.

This was followed by 8.2°C at Kohir (Sangareddy), 8.9°C at Bheempoor (Adilabad), 9.4°C at Moinabad (Rangareddy), 9.6°C at Gandhari (Kamareddy), 9.6°C at Mominpet (Vikarabad) and 10°C at Pembi (Nirmal).

The remaining 26 districts in the state recorded temperatures between 10°C and 14°C. In urban areas, Uppal in Medchal Malkajgiri recorded a minimum temperature of 10.6°C, while Trimulgherry in Hyderabad recorded 11.9°C.
