Israel attacks Iran as blasts heard in Tehran – live updates | Iran

Israel hit Iran
Israel says it has launched a “preemptive” strike against Iran and is preparing to retaliate.
Donald Trump on Friday said the United States had not made a final decision on whether to launch an attack on Iran, but added that he was “not happy” with the situation and that military force, including regime change, remained an option.
Negotiations between the United States and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program have remained inconclusive, with suggestions for further talks next week.
This comes amid a massive buildup of U.S. naval forces in the Middle East, including the repositioning of aircraft carriers and other warships.
Trump had previously given Tehran a 10- to 15-day deadline to strike a deal to resolve its long-running nuclear dispute or face “really bad things.”
It comes as Iran accused the United States of spreading “big lies” about its missile program after Trump claimed Tehran was producing weapons that could hit the United States.
In his State of the Union address, the US president said Iran “has developed missiles that could threaten Europe and our overseas bases, and they are working to build missiles that will soon reach the United States.”
He described Iran as the “world’s number one sponsor of terrorism” and claimed that at least 32,000 protesters had been killed during recent unrest in the country.
