Israel deports Australians after allegations of abuse in detention

ISRAEL DEPORTED AUSTRALIAN FLOOTLE MEMBERS

Seven Australians who were arrested while trying to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza were deported to Jordan.

The activists were part of the Global Sumud Flotilla that attempted to bring aid to Gaza last week, before being stopped by Israeli authorities and those involved detained.

As stated yesterday, Israel deported hundreds of activists. Greta Thunbergin the last few days. Local media reported that some of those detained overnight were in Jordan after being released. AAP writes.
