Israel–Iran war: Iran calls Trump’s move a ‘big mistake’, urges global push to halt conflict

Trump’s comments came just hours after he issued a strongly worded statement urging Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz and threatening serious consequences if it did not, as the conflict in West Asia escalates.

“The language that every person uses is the manifestation of his personality, humanity and morality. So someone who uses vulgar language means that it is his personality; many American senators have refused to use this language,” Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi was quoted as saying by ANI.
In an earlier post on Truth Social, Trump had used harsh language to convey his message, warning Iran of its deadline to ‘make a deal’ or ‘open the Strait’ and stated that Tuesday would be the day the US would complete Iran’s entire energy and civil infrastructure.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day in Iran. All in one. This will not happen! Damn it, open the Strait, you crazy bastards, otherwise you will live in Hell – JUST WATCH! Thank God,” he said in his post. Ilahi also told ANI that people all over the world are suffering due to the war. Calling the US war move as a ‘big mistake’, he elaborated, “From the beginning it was a very big mistake. It wasn’t just this war against Iran, but this war is against all human beings; it was against the whole world. And you will see the result of this war is a lot of people in different countries are suffering at the moment– initiating of this war was a very wrong and a big mistake.”

The Representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader also noted that the world should come together and call on the United States to stop the war due to the suffering on various fronts.
“All countries can play a big role in stopping this war because the war is now affecting the lives of many people; gas, oil and transportation prices have increased. That is why I think it is very necessary and important for world leaders to come together and ask President Trump to stop this war,” he said.
He also praised Indian diplomacy and underlined that New Delhi could play a deeper role in this regard. “India’s diplomacy is very good and they too can play more role in this regard,” he was quoted as saying by ANI.
