Israel kills two people in new attack on southern Lebanon

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that two people died in an Israeli drone attack on a vehicle in southern Lebanon.
Reporting from Lebanon, Al Jazeera correspondent Ihab al-Aqdi said that the attack took place on Sunday in the Ayn al-Mizrab region, north of the town of Bint Jbeil. He added that the targeted vehicle was destroyed and surrounding buildings were also damaged.
The Israeli army stated that the attack targeted a Hezbollah member and accused the Lebanese group of not complying with the ceasefire that started in November 2024.
