The strikes arrived hours after the Israeli army stopped a drone launched by Houthis towards Israel.

Houthis Media Office reported that Israeli air strikes hit the Yemeni capital Sanaa among the high tensions in the region. The strikes arrived hours after the Israeli army captured a drone launched by Houthis, the third strike from Yemen last week by Houthis, to Israel. Early on Sunday, the Israeli army shot Sanaa and killed at least 10 people.

The Israeli Defense Forces said in a statement on Thursday, “Shoot: A Houthi terrorist regime in the city of Sanaa in Yemen. The Iranian -backed Houthi regime targeted Israel and undermined regional stability and freedom of navigation.” They had no instant reports.

Israel has repeatedly targeted its Houthi positions in recent months because it launched attacks on Israel and Western ships in the Red Sea and Aden Gulf in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
