Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised US President Donald Trump’s effort to bring back Israeli hostages held in Gaza after the remains of the last hostage were found on Monday, January 26. “People did not believe that we could take 20 live hostages. With the help of President Trump, we got them out,” Netanyahu said at a conference against anti-Semitism in Jerusalem on Monday evening. A police convoy took the body of police officer Ran Gvili, who had been held in Gaza for more than 840 days, from the Gaza border to Israel’s Forensic Medicine Institute in Tel Aviv.
