Israel says hundreds of truckloads of aid are waiting to enter Gaza. Why can’t the UN bring them in?

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) – United Nations and Experts report reports that the Palestinians in Gaza are at risk of famine and that those who died for reasons for malnutrition have increased.

Nevertheless, Israel says that the UN is waiting on the border of hundreds of trucks to distribute it in Gaza. On Thursday, Israel’s army journalists took the Gaza side of the passage of Kerem Shahalom, where hundreds of aid boxes filled a lot of big things.

Israel says that it allows approximately 4,500 aid trucks to the total blockade in May – one of the lowest rates of the war is one of the lowest rates of war, and much less than the faces that say that the UN is needed every day.

Israel says that UN agencies allow enough help and accusations to reach those who need it. The UN says Israel has been blocked by military restrictions on the movements and criminal looting incidents.

Take a look at why the help cannot be delivered.

Insecure routes, bureaucracy and access denials

In order to obtain aid at the border or to move in most of the Gaza Strip, the UN trucks must enter the areas controlled by the army after receiving their permission. After assistance is installed, trucks must reach the population safely. The UN says the whole journey can take 20 hours.

Great desperate people crushed the crowds and crime gangs, when they enter and remove the materials. Witnesses say that Israeli troops regularly opened fire on the crowds, causing deaths and injuries.

UN UN Humanitarian Affairs or OCHA Coordination Office Officer Olga Checkeco said, “These factors have tried to pause the cargo collection from the transitions controlled by Israeli officials many times, many times, many times,” he said.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 79 Palestinians were killed while trying to enter Gaza this week. A UN official, who was not authorized to discuss the issue clearly and speaks on condition of anonymity, said that Israeli forces had opened fire against the crowd trying to buy food from a truck convoy. The Israeli army was aware of the thousands of Palestinian meeting, which pushed a threat in the Northern Gaza, and was aware of some losses.

On the website, Ocha said that there is a law and order of order that caused the collapse of the civil police force of Gaza, which caused insecurity and convoys moving in Gaza. He said that this was further united with the increase of armed gangs.

For the use of trucks, the army assigns routes “inappropriate, unable to pass for long truck convoys, passing through crowded markets or controlled by dangerous gangs”. When the UN objected to a route, he said the army provided several alternatives.

The UN is also easily fighting from the army. 506 out of 894 say that the army was rejected or blocked in May, June and July.

There are also regular delays of Israel’s coordination forces. OCHA, delays, convoys spend hours while waiting for “green light to move only to reject”.

Israel says it does not set a limit on aid trucks entering Gaza

Israel says it does not limit truck loads to Gaza, and that road assessments in Gaza are looking for the best ways to provide access to international society weekly.

Col. Col. Abdullah Halaby said a few transitions were open.

“We encourage our friends and colleagues to make collections from the international community and distribute humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza,” he said.

An Israeli security official, who was not allowed to be called in accordance with military procedures, told journalists this week that the UN wants to use unapproved ways.

He said the army offered to accompany the aid groups, but they refused.

The UN says that getting enough help on a daily basis will solve the problem

For most of the war, UN agencies were able to provide safe help to those who needed it despite Israeli restrictions and occasional attacks and looting. The police led by Hamas provided public security. However, Israel could not operate as the air strikes targeting the police force.

The UN says the accompanying Israel’s army can harm civilians, and that Israeli troops surrounding aid operations can refer to shooting and murders.

The UN and the aid groups also say that the looting of trucks is completely reduced or stopped when sufficient assistance is allowed to Gaza.

UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric said, “The best protection for us is the purchase of community.” “And in order to achieve this community participation, communities should understand that trucks will come every day and food will come every day.”

“That’s what we want,” he said.
