Israeli strikes on Tehran intensify, Australia asked for help in war

As global concerns about the Trump administration’s lack of strategy towards Iran continue to grow, the war in the Middle East has entered its second week with no signs of abating.

A new wave of “large-scale attacks” on Tehran, as well as attacks on “additional sites” in Iran, have been launched, the Israeli army said on Sunday evening. CNN reports.

Earlier in the day, Iran’s foreign ministry said US-Israeli attacks on oil depots in Tehran over the weekend had “released dangerous substances and toxic substances into the air” and that they were “endangering lives on a large scale”. BBC reports.
