In her biography titled ‘Hema Malini: Beyond the Dream Girl’, the veteran actress explained why she decided to live separately from Dharmendra. His election was not about rebellion; it was about peace and dignity. “I didn’t want to disturb anyone (considering that Dharmendra is already married to Prakash Kaur and has four children with her). I am happy with everything Dharam ji has done for my daughters and me,” she said.

On the work front, Dharmendra will be seen in Ikkis. The war drama, starring Agastya Nanda, will be Dharam’s last on-screen appearance. The movie will be released in theaters on December 25.
