ISRO Successfully Conducts Second Integrated Air Drop Test for Gaganyaan Mission

New Delhi: ISRO has successfully completed the second Integrated Air Drop Test (IADT-02) as part of preparations for India’s first human spaceflight mission Gaganyaan.

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh congratulated ISRO on the achievement and stated that the test was an important milestone in ensuring mission readiness for the upcoming crewed spaceflight program.

The Gaganyaan mission, India’s first human spaceflight attempt, is currently planned for next year. Successful completion of the air drop test is considered an important step in validating rescue systems and general mission safety mechanisms.
